Reported missing

At our B&B our host was worrying about her daughter. She is BA cabin crew and had to get to Heathrow to get the plane to Houston - much of England seems covers in a blanket of fog, if she was late on her journey she would get a warning.

Early morning walk to take some air before going to J's Mum's. The Isle of Wight has disappeared. A few dog walkers around, otherwise pretty quiet. But those fishing from the shingle beach seemed happy.

Later in the afternoon, we took a short walk from Avon Beach to Mudeford Quay. Very busy, still lots of crabbing going on. Christchurch harbour is like a millpond - see extra. But although it was now bright and sunny, the Isle of Wight and the Needles are still nowhere to be seen on the horizon. I hope they are still there !
