Mill on the Avon
A day getting to grips with settings other than Auto ! That's on my DSLR, which hasn't got wi-fi .........
But I took a few with my other camera so I could blip. Started off with a walk around Bradford upon Avon, a first for me. Fantastic weather for the first day of November. And a lovely little town, took loads of photos. Loved the old tithe barn, the saxon church, the Avon and Kennet Canal and the River Avon, the terraces on the hillside including the spectacular view from St Mary Tory (never knew she had an allegiance !), the Town bridge, the old warehouses and wool mills lining the river, and much more.
Then a train to Bath, full of supporters in blue and white on their way to see the match. Lots more photos, loads to see and only really touched the surface. It is years since I have been to Bath. Chatting to a chat on bench in the sunshine with the abbey in front of us, a very good busker, and people looking generally happy I think I established a) the place has improved, and the new shopping area I walked through from the station (Bath's "Liverpool One") has been done very well and is much better than the 1970's stuff it replaced, and b) they have very good buskers in Bath, the selection process must be tough (they're much better than the X factor lot.
