My Life With Luna

St Peter's Church, Henley

After a foggy start first thing, the morning and early afternoon were sunny and bright with a temperature of 17 degrees, but the fog suddenly came back down at about 3.30 and when I came home from my son's, after a delicious lunch, the fog was really dense along the narrow country roads.
I went out for a walk before lunch with Alfie (he was on his bike) and we passed the village church which looked lovely in the sunshine.   The beech trees looked quite stunning and the yew was full of berries.
The main church body is 13th century, the porch 15th and the tower 16th, possibly 1525.  The bell for the clock was cast in 1520 and was  transferred from the church at Ubbeston in the north of the county.
