An early start

We arrived at Lyme Park quite early this morning, and at this time of year it was looking amazing. The children loved the amazing playground, which has a lovely wooded setting and has been very imaginatively designed!
After a while we went over a bridge by this lake to have coffee sitting outside in a courtyard.
Later in the day the children went to a friend's Halloween party, and at home when it was dark the pumpkins were lit - very exciting! A bit of running around in the dark garden pretending to look for witches finished the day - apart from 3 bedtime stories with a Halloween theme!
And they were asleep almost at once!
