Beech beauty

A wonderful walk in the sunshine this morning! I snapped these beech trees on my way home - we don't have many of them in our village.
A morning of chores before walking round to a friend's cottage for our Bookclub meeting. Our choice this month was The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry by Rachel Joyce.
A strange tale to be sure - and even better on a second reading- heartwarming, and thought provoking!
