The warmest 1st November

We went for a walk around Padfield and on the 1st of November in the Peak District saw Small Tortoiseshell butterfly(added  as extra photo) and an unidentified dragonfly that still thought it was summer at 17-18 degrees C.  No breeze at all so very warm indeed. Birds included Buzzard, Kestrel, Carrion Crow, Robin, Blackbird, Blue Tit, Dunnock, Chaffinch, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Goldfinch and Greenfinch.

This is the view to Peak Naze and Windy Harbour Farm from the horse (&sheep) paddocks at Padfield
