Fishing Buddies

We were down at the mouth of the river late this afternoon and I was intrigued to see this young fellow fishing with his buddies, Pete the Pelican.  I called out to him - "looks like you two are good buddy".  He told me that he had been catching little fish and feeding them to the pelican.  I would have hung around too if I could get a feed of fish that easily.  

This is one of the most beautiful areas of Augusta.  It's where the Blackwood River meets the sea and it's just a wonderful place to sit and reflect.  This afternoon we could see lazy dolphins just taking their time as they strolled along in the far distance making their way out to sea.

Being in such a lovely environment is just so good for the soul.
