A very different day!

An early Monday walk in the fog!

This tree is just above Goit Stock woods on the way to Bents Lane. Crossing the Lane we then climbed to Tan Hill Farm which was completely invisible but unfortunately no less steep!

Returning from Wilsden through the woods on the other side of the main road there was still plenty of Autumn colour to be seen despite the fog.

Later I went up to Wilsden again to the dentist and, having set off with fog lights on, the sun was nearly through at this higher elevation. Here the fog has only lifted a little since early morning. A good day for making soup!
