Roman Theatre
Kourion (or Curium) was a major centre of cultural, political and religious life. It was founded in the 12th century BC and prospered until it was destroyed by two earthquakes in the 4th century AD. The theatre was built in the second century BC.
The site also has well-preserved baths and some lovely mosaics in the House of the Gladiators.
On our way to Paphos, lunch was taken at the Aphrodite's Rock Brewery.
