Restart's Got Talent- Simon Cowell watch out

Another fitness session to start the day, I had been moaning to the trainer that I needed to burn more calories during the workouts and get rid of my bingo wings!! Note to self- keep ones mouth shut in future, even the backs of my hands were perspiring!!
This afternoon we had the grand finale of our fantastic talent show, which consisted of the finalists partaking in singing, dancing, public speaking, drumming, reading, modelling and fine art (to the rest of us that is colouring in pictures of unicorns). It was a great afternoon, and once again I smiled from ear to ear watching the kids showing off their talents. The lad pictured today is known as GG. When he originally came into the orphanage he was a very troubled and problematic child. The the love and support he has received at Restart has made him into an outgoing, talented and engaging young man who will no doubt go far. He took part in the dancing, drumming, singing and reading categories in the final, in the previous heats he had entered just about every category, possibly just hedging his bets that he might win one of them. His drumming was outstanding, considering that he hadn't received any training. Up until this week the orphanage had only possesed one drum stick. For the final we managed to obtain a pair, the only problem being that GG had only ever used one in the past so didn't quite know what to do with the spare one! When he learns how to use both he may have a career out of it. GG won the overall boy category as he was outstanding in everything he did. He's also wearing a Shrewsbury town football club shirt so can't be a bad lad.
