Oh, what a beautiful morning

Oh, what a beautiful day, and
Mr T's wondering if there'll be any flying today? ....

Well, it all started very well.  We hadn't imbibed in too much Rats Pee or Mulled Blood  last night so were feeling pretty good on this 1st November morning.  We woke to a magnificent sunrise and it was really warm so we ate breakfast outside.  The mist was heavy in the valley but all the keen pilots were hopeful that the bright sun would burn it off..
No such luck though, the mist rolled up over the hill in the early afternoon which  halted any hope of flying.  
Unlucky for some,  but nice for me  as I was able to drag Mr T away and we went to the cinema in Shrewsbury and spent 2 hours in the company of the fantastic Mr Bond, James Bond and 'Spectre'.  Really enjoyed it.   The stunts involving Mr Bond's 'Islander' aircraft, helicopter and boat sequences were provided by the Company who employ one of the Gliding club's ex-winch drivers - sorry, musn't spoil the drama!!
