On top of the world
We've been 'on top of the world' for the last couple of days - at the Gliding Club, Long Mynd, Shropshire and looking down on the fog and mist below us.
Today it dawned another bright and beautiful day. We breakfasted outside in shorts and T-shirts again and wiped the sweat from our brows as we de-camped and packed up the caravan. We said our goodbyes to the few people left at the Club and made our way down the hill - the views were spectacular and you could see for miles and then poof, the views disappeared and we were immediately engulfed in the cotton wool fog which got worse the nearer we got to home and the temperature dropped appreciably - we shivered in our shorts and T-shirts and once 'Matilda'' (caravan) was safely put to bed we were glad to get indoors and crank the heating up.
Another foggy day forecast for tomorrow and disruption for many, I fear.
I've backblipped
Double Double toil and trouble and
Oh, what a beautiful morning
and sorry I'm behind again but very limited wifi up on the hill - adverse weather conditions perhaps?!
