A slice of Lesley's life

Autumn colours

I have been meaning to join in the autumn colour fest that is happening all over at the moment but have so far failed to get any decent pictures. So when I noticed the sun on Anna's hair on the walk home from school I took my chance.

A bit of a tired day after a disturbed night's sleep with a really rubbish anxiety dream but I was on early dog walking duty which seemed to sort me out and get me started. That and a post school run barrecore class. The classes are still not getting any easier but I'm really enjoying them and all my knee and hip aches and pains from running have all but disappeared so I presume it is all doing me some good.

The rest of the day seems to have been prepping for a big work thing tomorrow and hanging out with the boy. Oh, and at the tender age of 43 I finally got around to making pesto. It needs some work for me and the boy to enjoy it but the girl loved it. And Albi loved licking the plates so much she pulled the bottom rack out of the dishwasher with her exuberance and broke a plate.

And lots of eye bathing in saline solution and I think I finally look kind of normal.

As Mondays go I'll take it.
