Beverley Minster

Beverley Minster is simply stunning. Not crowded and magnificent in its grandeur. The carved screen under the organ has to be seen to be believed so I caught the edge of it against the soaring heights of the windows and roof. I looked up to see a head peering down from way above, lowering a cradle of books that are stored for sale in the shop. The receiver of the heavenly freight, Paul Hawkins, unloaded the booty - he has put together a you tube channel (search on his name) to reveal the inner-workings of maintaining this beautifully historic building. Excellent.
