The All Blacks arrive home

This is a really lazy photo taken straight from the TV news at lunchtime where we sat and watched a welcome home to the victorious All Blacks. Kuratiwaka Ngarimu from Ruatoria stole the show when his message to Nehe Milton-Skudder before the rugby world cup final went viral via Twitter or Facebook.In it he said his Mum would bake a cake for Nehe if he ever visited Ruatoria, a small rural town on the East Coast of the North Island.
Well the TV people went one better and flew the boy to Auckland with the cake and he went on stage and presented it. He was then going to spend time with his idols.

So good to see they are now enjoying the NZ supporters. Poor beggars must be so tired after their long flight too.


For the record we had 20mm rain overnight. Cool and showery today. Had 3 lots of visitors this morning so now to do some catching up with other things.
