Tui on the flax
The tuis are feeding at the back on the tui tea and now the flax at the front door is flowering they fly low down the side of the house to attack the flax flowers. And attack is the right word- they jab their beak in and hop from branch to branch. The evidence is the yellow pollen all over this ones beak.
I was hardly in the door from a day at the research room at the museum when he flew in. I had left my camera ready so blip, blip.
