What to do, during the rain.

One could be forgiven for thinking this photo had been taken during the dead of night, that perhaps I had just awakened Miss Tibbs from a very deep sleep, as a last minute effort to add a blip before midnight.

In actual fact, I took this photo at about 1 pm this afternoon, with the use of a flash, in a room which is usually full of natural light, even on a rainy day.

The rain, which began around lunchtime yesterday, has not let up, not for a minute, and Miss Tibbs has simply slept the day away.

The house has been cold and dark all day. When you live in the sub-tropics, you are simply not prepared for unusually cold temperatures! Even the ducks and birds, who called into the backyard this morning for a quick breakfast, have gone into hiding.

It's all just, so, un-winter-like! (But a great opportunity to catch up on some reading!)
