Wet rose

When hubby is away I always wake earlier than the alarm, probably subconsciously worried I'm going to oversleep. So up early to walk the dog in the misty rain, once home noticed my lovely new rose (called "Good as Gold"). Not easy to get a good photo, this was the best of the few I took.

Worked from home today, busy up and down stairs to re-fill my coffee mug and answer the door to delivery people. Stopped for lunch to cook broccoli and cheese soup, then back upstairs to the office.

Finished at 5:30pm and off to our "Team Wednesday" meal out. Good catch up with current and past colleagues 8 of us in total).
