the thing about rain - it makes the grass grow

I was struck this morning by just how green the lawn was looking, as the rain poured down.  All the more so, against the drab greyness everywhere else.

This was taken with an in-camera effect on my compact.  So no faffing, which in blip-speak means sitting at the computer and playing with software until the desired effect is achieved, or fatigue or boredom take over - which ever occurs first.  

This time the camera did all the faffing and I had a day off.
