Up on the roof ...
The rain has stopped for a while and the roads and pavements are drying. Not for long I am sure! It has been quite humid and misty.
No gardening today except some feeding of greenhouse plants.
Maeve the Deerhound and I did get out for our walk and at the usual time, but we went a slightly different route to avoid long grass and wet places. I also had to be careful with Maeve as we had to go along a stretch of road where there were roadworks yesterday and they laid surface chippings. Thankfully there had been a cleaning truck with rotating brushes back and forth this morning to take some of them away. We had a wander along to the Fishermen's huts and as we got there the man we had seen with a catch of large crabs recently was driving away. Waves and smiles were exchanged. Not another soul around so we had a chance to potter around and look for new things for potential blips.
This blip is of the end of a wooden ladder which is lying on the red painted corrugated iron roof of one of the Fishermen's huts :-)
