My favourite Walk

This morning we went for a walk along the foreshore in Augusta.  It's a wonderful walk, only short but so, so interesting and honestly I have to say it's one of my favourite places to be in the whole world!  You can always count on a pelican or three or a hundred to be hanging around and this character wasn't giving up his favourite rocky for anyone.

We met up for lunch with two of Mum and Dad's best friends from Augusta at the Colour Patch which is a famous little cafe situated right where the Blackwood River meets the sea.  It was just fantastic to see Appie and Eric again and I couldn't ever visit Western Australia without seeing them.  So many lovely stories were told and so many wonderful memories to share about the good old days.
