Martin Mere

We've had a lovely day at Martin Mere. Loads of birds (and otters) to photograph or sketch, a ride in a canoe and lots of laughter.

I took an awful lot of photographs, quite a few of them are super but this is the one I really love. Flamingoes are weird creatures but I think the pink gets in the way of their unique beauty sometimes. I will post a few of the others on Fickr shortly so you can have a toot at them if you like.
