You gotta make your own fun
Wow - what a night - I needed that - one of those days where I worked at work stuff - doing all the hard bits - gettng my laundry done - writing up the town's new snowplow purchase - standing on the side of the road interviewing a lady about the old Poor House - nothing there but a field and brambles - nothing to mark the 150+ people who are buried around the place - when the building burned down in 1995, the Courier didnt even mention it - and then of course even the lady im interviewing wont pose for a photo - so what've i got for an image? nothing no one - sad
also got working on a new platform for the Digby Fire webpage - one that will work with cellphones - when i originally built their webpage from the HTML up, no one browsing on their phone - and my simple early design has bloated up into something pretty tough to keep up with using text editor (for editing HTML) and coffee cup for FTP - so i think we're gonna switch to wordpress - kind of funny - thats what i used for As the Snow Falls back in the day - biggest coolest thing for me, is it can be updated from my cellphone
so after slaving away all day, im so happy we were given comp tickets to this wonderful community event - so many moving parts for a group of volunteers to take on - the food, the service, the sets and decoration, the ticket sales, the performing, acting, improv, singing, the music, dancing and so much fun - put a big smile on my face
the above photo is made more wonderful, by the fact that the smiling lady is a nun who normally wears a colourless habit - so for those wild and crazy fellas to be in black and white and sister bonnie to be wearing a pink poodle skirt, is to me simply delicious
