Timber delivery
I've been waiting for weeks for macrocarpa sleepers to build a raised garden in the front courtyard. Because of the sewer repairs there is no road access to my house.
The 3m and 1.8m lengths are heavy. The .6m lengths are bad enough when you've got to carry them the best part of 5 minutes.
The lovely guys doing the repairs offered to help. I got the timber delivered as far as the corner with the park down the road. One the guys threw the 1.8m length over his shoulder and strode down to my place.
In the photo his boss is delivering the remaining timber using the front end loader. He nosed it in as far as he could and guys carried it the rest of the way. It's neatly stacked on my front path.
I'm chuffed.:-)
