You can do it!

Amazing wildlife filled day visiting a turtle rescue centre, having a river cruise which culminated in another wildlife experience that I had previously only dreamed of: releasing baby turtles into the wild. The centre there buys the eggs from the fishermen so they don't get eaten and they stay there for a few days until the hole in their belly closes up,which leaves them less prone to infection and the few days growth makes them that little bit stronger so more of them survive. Amazing to essentially be contributing to more of these tiny little guys making it to adulthood. 

I was also proud of myself for my mindfulness. I didn't take many photos as I was too engrossed in feeling the moment and watching them scuttle across the beach. The result is not having a perfect 'baby turtle makes it to the ocean' photo but hopefully having a more full memory of the experience.
