Field scabious

Today was a bit of a beast as far as the weather was concerned, but I did 'enjoy' a quick ramble out to the fields to blip some very wet flowers for FlowerFriday (hosted as ever by the lovely BikerBear - thank you).  This is one of the last of the field scabious' (or should that be scabii?  I don't think so).  I usually try to squeeze one into my journal each year as they're such a feature round here, but so far haven't got one for 2015.  Situation rectified!

Apart from that it's been a day of meetings, newsletters, worry and broccoli and Stilton soup - you know, the usual mixed bag.
