James Bond is Rubbish

Walking around today, observing the world around me, looking for something to blip I snapped many pictures. I found this (extra) litter on the road in the evening. Some scrap, don't know where it's from. I hope the movie is good, though, liked Skyfall a fair bit.

Since it's Deepavali soon I walked down to the nearest Hindu temple at lunchtime. The various humanoid sculptures in temples are often fierce and scary looking. I was once told that they actually are depictions of benevolent deities meant to frighten evil spirits away. I'm guessing that they could be depictions of asuras as well. When I spotted a gentle looking expression I was quite surprised. I'll ask a friend if she could explain this to me.

Yoga was good today. Making improvements with my shoulderstand, small ones. Mind over matter.
