The Hills

Ipoh is in this valley surrounded by gorgeous mountain ranges. Cool and bottle green they keep the micro climate here liveable (compared to desert Malacca). The limestone hills affect the water chemistry that the food grown here tastes great (compared to Malacca). They also provide a great place for asian houses of worship. This is one of many temples by the Hills in Ipoh, is apparently one of three world noted Hindu temples in Malaysia. I remember my (very) Christian mother taking me there when I was 6 to see the Thaipusam festival.

After having left Ipoh, one realises he left the bean curd he bought the evening before in the fridge. One knocks himself.
