Washing Dee Dee
We awoke early to trek uphill and collect our elephants from where they'd been asleep in the jungle then rode them bareback down said hill. My first bareback experience was a lot more adrenaline-filled that I had expected. I lost my flip flops when I freaked out when my face got covered in a spiders web.
We then drove into the countryside and trekked through paddies and to a village before floating back down the river on a bamboo raft to then wash one of the smaller elephants, 5 year old Dee Dee.
The whole day felt a bit strange as I'd had barely any sleep it was all a bit hazy. Amazing, but hazy.
