Chicoree to be precise. Just made myself a bowl of salad in anticipation of the -hopefully- much better and more summer weather in Switzerland. I am definitely ready for my holidays.

However, there's still quite a bit of work to be done before. Had been feeling quite low and down recently but this improved today. Am hoping the good mood lasts. I am trying to be patient for my Dad's sake, he is willing to wait so I will wait too.
The kids go stir-crazy, it's definitely the end of term now. Just let them go mad for a bit, that was easier than trying to hold them back. They're in bed now, football in living room and i'll go back to my book soon. Andrew Greig, "another light". I really want to visit orkney now.
