SOGGY SATURDAY
We arrived in Newmarket in the pouring rain and it hasn’t really stopped since, but being English, we go whatever the weather!
So on a soggy Saturday morning, we ventured into Ely - and had a very quick tour round the Cathedral, then went for a coffee and chat with our Blip host and hostess. We saw this little girl run away from her mum and straight into a puddle - well that’s what wellies are for, isn’t it?
I did manage to put up a Post-It Note on the window of Oliver Cromwell’s house near the Parish Church, but we left soon after so that I wouldn’t get into trouble!
Hope the weekend is fine and sunny for some of you - it’s still wet and windy here, but the company and the food is great!
One of the most beautiful qualities
of true friendship
is to understand
and to be understood.
