Surviving ...

for remembrance.

As several people mentioned yesterday this unexpected poppy has timed its opening perfectly for Remembrance weekend.
They don't last long and I'm amazed it has survived today's heavy rain. Not sure it will make it till tomorrow but as we are having a remembrance evening tonight - Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow at the Comgrgational Church in the village, I think it is appropriate to post it as a blip again fully open but spattered by rain drops.

Sounds like we could all get wet tomorrow too at the village War Memorial!
