Taming the Curls
Today, after a lie in, Mollie & I drove in to Norwich with a long list of things to do. Culminating in Mollie's first hair cut in a couple of years.
I dropped Mollie at the shops then went on a march to find the scout shop. I needed to buy a Sea Scout jumper for Henry. I've explored yet another bit of Norwich's back streets and now know where the scout shop is (if you need to know, get in touch!). It was a little further out than I'd expected and we had to race to get to the NUA open day. Luckily while parking I accosted a university student who led us to the registration area. We made it in time for our talk, followed by a campus tour.
At 3pm we headed to Jarrolds for a bite to eat then up to the hairdressers (Regis) in the store, where Mollie was treated by the lovely Amy, to a wash, cut and amazing blow dry. Her gorgeous curls were tamed, resulting in a lovely bouncy curl. She was really pleased and we recommend the salon. We will go back!
Home at 5.30, Jon has been working hard and built Henry a desk, so his room is now finished & we have one happy boy. Jon cooked a proper Saturday tea of egg, bacon, mushrooms and beans.
We are now sitting with 'Strictly' finishing the earrings & thinking about what else we need to do this week for the craft fair. It's coming together....
