Protection

Last night thousands of people made their way to the Brockham Bonfire event, and as N's golf club is within walking distance, measures have to be taken to prevent people parking on the grassy entrance. In addition all remove able objects such as flags and benches were put safely away.
At the club there was a "Bonfire Supper" during which diners came out onto the clubhouse balcony fir a grandstand view of the fireworks being let off a few miles away. We missed the supper this year - we were at a WI Quiz Night.
Instead we were at the club today for the regular "second Sunday" carvery lunch.
