Three cheers for Dad and Stu!

This morning Dad and Stu fitted the final internal lintel in the lounge.  It was the harder of the three as the acrow bars (holding everything up) made access difficult.  They did it though and think they are actually becoming experts.  While Dad was round he fixed the sink for us (see extra photo).  Its only a short term fix as when we get planning permission the existing kitchen will be demolished, but it means we have a working sink for the next few weeks.  Thanks Dad X
I didn't really do much other than supervise as I was ready to go out with the Girls and didn't want to get messy.  Anna and Bec popped in on the way to have a look at the house as they hadn't seen it.  I don't think they really knew what to say, but they both seem to think it will be lovely when its finished.  We then went for lunch and a catch up which was lovely.
Stu stayed at the house all afternoon tidying up and finishing off a few things he had started.  He finished burning all the wood and remembered to put the bin out too - isn't he good.
