Wind Power

Busy day with travelling on the highways. In the morning a visit to Rotterdam and a boat trip around the port. In the afternoon a visit to Kinderdijk where there is a group of around 20 windmills.

In truth these are not wind mills, but what else to call them? They do not mill anything, instead they used the power of the wind to control the water levels in the polders.

Never mind, it was a brilliant warm and sunny day. I got way behind with my blips, but I am now trying to catch up.
