Travellers

This stone-carved image of a man and a woman together is a common roadside and streetside little statue around city streets and footpaths in Japan.
I find them rather quaint and touching - a suitable emblem for our month visiting and exploring this strange and fascinating country.
Today we learned that our airline Lufthansa is suspending flights because of industrial action by aircrew!!
We have no specific information other than the meagre news thar we manage to glean on the internet!
We shall present ourselves at Nagoya airport on Thursday and see what happens!!
Getting home might become a bit of a saga.
