Enjoying the delightful Scottish border town of Peebles which as can be seen above is able to provide for both physical and spiritual needs.
The day was enhanced when Knottman and Mrs.K. had blip coffee with veteran Blipper Chamberlain John. Thankyou John for your stimulating conversation and for buying the coffee.

Lunch and the afternoon provided more pleasure with a visit to Abbotsford the home built by world famous novelist Sir Walter Scott. Now run by a Trust and with a very good visitor centre and restaurant, the house, on the banks of the Tweed is well worth a visit.

My first extra is a rather nice bracket fungi, the name of which I am unsure about.

The second extra, if I can achieve it, is a bust of Scott.
