What a different day to yesterday............Thank goodness!
Sunshine on and off most of the day, and so warm for the time of year. ( although still feels cold to us!)

As if we hadn't had enough wine, it was our monthly wine club meeting last night.
Well as treasurer I had to attend, and MrC came along as my driver!

Very interesting Italian wines.
Made even more interesting as one of the wines was made by the Appassimento method. ( addition of partially dried grapes to add richness to the wine.)
Something we came across in Cape Town.

We had a wine called Pinopasso, which we all enjoyed. The grape was Pinotage, but made by this method in a small place called Bellingham as a tribute to the Italian prisoners of war who lived and worked at Bellingham.

Even more amazing is that they sell this wine at Majestic Wines. Price £ 8.99.
I think we may have to pay them a visit!
