Sunset on The Broads

The icing on the cake for today!

Beautiful morning spent watching the grey seals with their young pups, from the sand dunes at Horsey. ( will put some photos up on my blipfoilo soon)
( just missed seeing the Humpback Whale!)

Lunch was going to be at the local pub.
But the kitchen was closed due to a refurb.
So sandwiches only.
" Sorry we only have one left!"
So we shared a cheese and pickle sandwich, packet of crisps, but managed a shandy each!

Late afternoon we went to Hickling Broad to watch the raptors come in to roost.
What a wonderful sight to see 30/40 marsh harriers settle down in the reeds.
( just missed the two cranes!)

But this beautiful sun set was amazing, looking out over Hickling Broad.
Definitely had to be my blip of the day., and entered for Lovers of Light.

Just realised that last year it was also a Norfolk sunset.
