DIANTHUS
There are still several tiny flowers in our garden. Of the Dianthus family.
The oak and the beach have lost almost all their leaves. The whole day a grey sky above us. I ploughed at a difficult steep point, quite a long time to make a kind of path and therefore had to remove a lot of ivy and blackberry bushes. When I started it seemed almost impossible, but soon enough I found out how to proceed and although I have not finished yet, tomorrow I will.
Late in the afternoon Piet Hein and I made against odds a walk to the Weser. There happened to be strange colours in the sky, a dark blue and light grey. It looked really surreal. It disappeared soon after we had noticed it.
We were glad that we had conquered our initial aversion to a walk.
This is my contribution to the TinyTuesday challenge, hosted so friendly by JDO.
My haiku:
I count the petals
And admire the colour of
This brave little one
And the proverb:
To cast beyond the moon
(= to indulge in wild conjectures)
