Holm Sweet Holm

Another few sessions bashing away at the Holm Oak. Freshly split it has a lovely creamy whiteness. It soon colours up as the tannins react with the air (possibly).

A buzzard flew over mobbed by crows and seagulls. A USAF swing motor (?) Osprey from Mildenhall flew over. Otherwise the day was dull and overcast. Bashed my foot with a piece of flying wood (put on the steel toe caps after the horse had bolted). Then cut my finger chopping leeks.

John munching on wurst and rye bread brought from Germany.
