Goodbyes

We awoke to the usual miserable weather, no change from what I've experienced on every day of my 'solo retreat', rain and gusty wind, not quite as bad as Friday and Saturday though.  Once we'd packed up 'Matilda' and hitched her up we were ready for the off but only after a quick walk round to say goodbye to our CL hosts, the livery horses and the white ducks on the little pond right by the caravan site, but which belong to a private house,  I think.

We've had an excellent journey home and in sunshine too, the sight of which I haven't seen for the last few days, and it's still so warm.

Really enjoyed my few days off but very tired now so my appointment with the washing machine and other jobs will have to wait!
