The large owl and the tiny warrior

I had a lovely day with amazing composer Chris Nicolaides singing a song for him, he took me for lunch and then he kindly listened to some of the songs I've been working on this year, he was very complimentary and it was great to have an opportunity to actually play some of my music to someone, especially someone whose opinion I really respect.
I totally forgot to photograph him although I meant to so here is a random scene from the local garden centre instead....

We are re watching 24 with the kids, so exciting!

Gulli is madly making paper planes from a book we bought him ages ago, lovely to see him doing something now that we are closely monitoring the i-pad usage.
