The Green Tree
Technophobe and I went to our little camera group this evening. It's a 7 pm start and is about 15 miles away, and seeing as I don't get home from work until about 10 to 6, it's a bit of a rush.
Anyway, we made it. The trouble is we didn't actually take any photos at camera club, as it was more theoretical. On our way back home we therefore made a very swift detour through the next village to where we live, to photograph this tree which is in the garden of the pub. It always looks great lit up at night.
Unfortunately, I only had my "big" lens on. By this time it was getting late and pouring with rain and pretty windy, so I didn't change the lens, which is why you can only see the lower part of the tree.
This is straight out of the camera, and the colour is from the lighting which the pub have put around the tree. The buildings in the background are the cottages over the road to the pub.
By the way, we didn't even have a swift half. We jumped out of the car, took a couple of photos, jumped back in again, and off we went.
