Champagne afternoon tea

....at the Galgorm Resort and Spa. It was very nice!

We were treated by two friends from school, who bought this as a retirement jolly for me. The surroundings by the river were beautiful, and all was calm and bucolic, but unfortunately we were overtaken by hurricane Abigail on the way home!

My word! Terrible driving conditions, but we were on the motorway at this stage and had to keep going. It was quite frightening as the visibility was so poor but traffic still hurtled along, regardless.

Anyway, glad to be home now and we even have a 'doggy bag' of lovely pastries that we didn't finish at lunchtime.

Time to light the fire and settle in for the night :)
