Janome

My trusty Janome has been working very hard recently- R has turned into an obsessive seamstress and one of the refugee girls we know well works on her patchwork quilt every time she comes over, like she did today.

Today is a big day for the refugees who are very excited as the peshmerga try to liberate their town. There have been war planes and helicopters flying very low overhead all day. The refugee children were so excited to actually get to see the soldiers in the plane who waved to them as they were standing on their roof!
