Free!

Today was an exciting day- Sinjar has been liberated! We spent the afternoon with friends in their village (where the children had fun climbing trees) whose relatives are peshmerga involved in this huge operation. They were obviously really worried about them. We were all glued to the news for a lot of the visit. It's really strange seeing the inside of a town which we've heard so much about. It must be strange/exciting/upsetting for the refugees to be seeing inside their town again but a town in ruins.
