What a great time.. even with the monsoon ...

How humid ... wowwweee it was humid !! Year six and teachers plus helper (me) did a good 4 miles,which was risk assessed by some chap the day before.. it involved a popular cycle route,3 main roads and a river pathway.. NO ONE DIED... which is always a bonus.However we had one vomit,a clash of heads (Tit's McGee's fault) an absolute down pour half way through the picnic,children who disobeyed and danced out in the thunderstorm (fear not they did get into trouble and quite rightly) ... it was an Olympic theme down by the river with a few other schools,the rain ruined it and after the rain passed the sun blazed down and it just turned into a MASSIVE free for all of about 5 different football games going on,but it was all VERY good natured..
they held it so that many children who are all going to the High school from our junior schools in September can meet and have a play so it hopefully won't be SO daunting when they start school......... it worked really well I think :D
No one is going to the same school as my daughter Eve and she is delighted by this it was her choice ....... so don't worry about her !!!!She will always see Flora and some of the others as I am friends with Floras mum and we holiday together,I am quite emotional.
I have TWO rants... one about some absolute BITCH who when we were crossing 60 well behaved children across a road( we use a very safe process where we take ALL the children across in a line,no one gets left behind... and two adults hold the traffic and then thank them....) 99% of drivers are fine but you get one or two who just go mental... HOWEVER NOT AS MENTAL AS ME........ they are CHILDREN... CHILDREN CALMLY CROSSING A NOT VERY FUCKING BUSY ROAD... IT TAKES 2 MINUTES..... this woman decided to yell at us.. WELL.. SHE GOT MORE THAN SHE FUCKING BARGAINED FOR... let's just say she rolled her window back up.

Rant 2..... I very rarely go read the forums on blip,I find it a strange place...... there is a thing that 'some' people called comment whoring.. as in,if you 'whore' about you get LOADS of comments and go into spotlight.HOW CHILDISH !!! I don't mean about spotlight or any other light for that matter,I mean the actual tag COMMENT WHORING... seriously .. how old are these people ???? No one on this earth will stop me replying to the blip pals I ahve made on here and if that makes me a comment whore,jog on you blithering idiot and get a life.
Tell you what,if thats all you have to bitch about,go watch some footage of people starving or the street kids in Brazil and DON'T LOOK AT MY JOURNAL.. stupid.
