My favourite field......

in autumn gloom!
Once again, there was very little to blip today (I am finding the lean months very hard this year!) I had to go to Crawley this afternoon to drop some things off at another school, so I seized the day and stopped off at my favourite field on the way home.
As you can see it still boasts a maize crop as yet unharvested. The Oak trees are beginning to change to a bronze colour too. 
I have a feeling this field may be featured again before next spring!
